A village healer’s son finds healing and follows Jesus
For most of his life, Preem lived quietly in the shadow of his father.
His father was known across the region as a powerful village healer. People feared him. No one questioned him. And no one expected his son to choose a different path.
But at 17, everything changed.
Preem became seriously ill. He began passing blood and growing weaker. His family turned to traditional remedies, but nothing helped. As his condition worsened, he made a decision that could have cost him everything.
He went to a church.
Quietly, and without his father knowing, Preem began attending and asking for prayer. Week after week, believers prayed for his healing.
Finally, the symptoms stopped.
He had been healed.
But something deeper had also taken root. Preem had encountered Jesus, and his life was no longer the same.
He chose to follow Christ.
Today, Preem serves as a pastor, leading believers across two villages from different tribal backgrounds. In a place once marked by fear, the Gospel is now being shared. Lives are changing. People are gathering to worship.
And it all began with one young man who chose to seek Jesus, even when it meant stepping away from everything he had known.
Through the faithful work of local believers, the Church continues to grow in places like this. Pastors are being strengthened. The Gospel is moving forward.
Please pray for leaders like Preem as they continue to shepherd believers and reach others with the Truth.
He had been healed.
