JOY: Welcome to God’s Church on the Move—the podcast that takes you to all the spiritual hotspots worldwide where God is actively working incredible things. With me in the studio today are Ron and Charis Pearce — welcome back, guys!

CHARIS: Hi Joy!

RON: Hi, good to be back.

JOY: So, Ron, tell us what country is on your heart today

RON: India.

JOY: Why?

RON: It is exploding. I’ve never seen this kind of revival taking place in India in all the years I’ve been going.

CHARIS: What does that look like?

RON: Well, I was just there a few months ago. We had a meeting of all our leaders. There were 17 of them who came to Delhi, and we had a big conference together. They came from all over the country. Every single one of them, when they stood up, said something like, The revival is spreading. It’s not stopping.” It’s not just northern India, where I used to say things were happening — it’s now central and spreading south. The people are listening to the Gospel and responding like never before.

JOY: So it’s not isolated?

RON: Not at all. In fact, I heard from a pastor recently who said, We used to baptize maybe 10 people a year. Now we’re baptizing hundreds.”

CHARIS: That’s amazing!

RON: It is. And they’re not just getting wet — they are being completely changed. You go into these remote villages, and the entire community has transformed. Crime is going down, marriages are being restored, addictions are being broken — it’s a real, lasting impact.

JOY: Do you think COVID had anything to do with that?

RON: Absolutely. The desperation during COVID opened hearts. People were searching for answers, and many turned to Jesus. And now, after the pandemic, it’s like someone flipped a switch.

CHARIS: What are the leaders saying about the pace of growth?

RON: They can’t keep up. One of our pastors told me, We’ve been asked to do 1,000 mini crusades in our region, but we don’t have the manpower.”

JOY: A thousand?!

RON: Yes! They’re holding mini crusades everywhere. One leader told me, We’ve done 500 already, and it’s still not enough.”

CHARIS: So how big are these gatherings?

RON: Sometimes they’re 500 people, sometimes 2,000, and at a Jesus festival, it can be 5,000 or more. People are hearing the Gospel clearly and publicly.

JOY: And there’s no fear?

RON: There is fear — but boldness is overcoming it. They know persecution could come at any time, but they’re pressing forward.

CHARIS: What are you seeing in terms of miracles or signs?

RON: Healings, deliverances, you name it. I was shown photos from a recent Jesus festival where people were lined up to testify. One woman was healed of a tumor, another of blindness. People were rejoicing and crying. And it went on for hours — from 9 AM to midnight.

JOY: You didn’t go to that one, did you?

RON: No. I actually stay away now. I don’t want to attract attention. When I show up, local officials ask, Who’s the foreigner?” and that can shut things down.

CHARIS: So what’s Empower’s role in all of this?

RON: We’re funding the festivals and mini crusades — providing sound equipment, transportation, everything needed to get the Gospel out.

JOY: And the people are ready?

RON: More than ready. This isn’t just momentum — it’s a spiritual fire that’s consuming the country.

CHARIS: That’s incredible.

JOY: Thank you for sharing, Ron. It’s amazing to see what God is doing in India.

RON: Thanks for letting me share.

JOY: And thank you all for listening. Join us next time on God’s Church on the Move.
